Founded in 2015, Nutashkuan Ressources, which means “Where we hunt bears” is a partnership with the Band Council from the Community of Nutashkuan (Innus) in the Côte-Nord region.
Our mission is to create real economic and social benefits in the community through the realization of projects and transfer of knowledge to Innu workers.

Projects
Nutashkuan Resources has been involved in numerous projects around Nutashkuan over the last few years. Among other, we have completed the Romaine-3 reservoir clearing works for Hydro-Québec, retrieval of wood debris in Romaine 1-2-3-4, clean-up of abandoned mining sites, loan of personnel for the Natashquan-La Romaine power line construction and clearing of the power line right-of-way between Natashquan and Kégaska (section 2). All projects were carried out with the involvement of several local Innu workers.
